Hey, I saw the ad in Kerrang! and my ideal playlist would involve everything from Metallica to The Script. The songs which make me really think about things are Call Me by Shinedown and Home by Daughtry. Also, the songs which make my day have to be The Unforgiven III by Metallica, Fly From The Inside by Shinedown, Tired Of The Rain by Black Stone Cherry and That Golden Rule by Biffy Clyro. I'd love to win the iPod nano because my phone just can't hold all of the songs I love on it :(

Heyaa, i saw this in the kerrang!
My ideal plahy list would have everything from Avenged sevenfold to Eminem.
The few songs that really get me thinking is Seize the day and Dear god my avenged sevenfold, less than jake - welcome to my life and Simple plan- Addicted.
The songs which really make my day is, Bowling for soup- My wena :L Papa Roach- forever Framing Hanley- Hear me now Eminem- Lose yourself and Beautiful, Slipknot, wait and bleed, phsycosocialLazze ft Neverstone- hold on
The reason why i would love to win the ipod nano is because, i have asked for an ipod for years, but because of stuff that my mum is going though, she hasnt been able to afford one :(
And I cant really fit all my favourite bands and songs on my mp3 :(

I dont have a clue how to start this but.
The music that really speaks to me is the heavy, hard, thrash metal.
The lyrics in the music makes me think, specialy when the group sing about their lifes.
When i listen to certian bands like Avenged sevenfold Arch enemy or the dillinger escape plan i always thing of everything that i have been through my entire life and think
" man... iv got though this on my own, iv counselled my self to be sane again" Dear god and sieze the day by avenged sevenfold and scars by papa roach are the main songs i listen to when i need to cry.
when i listen to scars, it reminds me that the past is real and that you've made it. you have got though what you have had to go though memories just seam like one picture to me, and i close my eyes i see the picture burning. also when i listen to them and i feel really low, the beat in the songs, are good for when your knocking srtess out, hitting a ounching bag or playing on the drums. which is what i like to do. it kinda releves my anger and once i finished i feel so much better once iv thought bout everything.
The songs that really make my day has got to be
Caramell dancing ( english version) its one of them songs which just make you dance along, even if you look sill when your dancing and singing along to it. Framing hanley- hear me now and lollipop, when ever i hear these songs on the radio or on scuzz tv, i jump :D and the 1st thing i do it high it up full! I love dnacing and singing to them two songs, they really do put me in a good mood.
Discolights by Dareen styles, when ever i listen to this, its one of the songs that i turn up full and just sing along to it :)
But also Alot of metal music really makes my day, bands such as slipknot, a day to rememer, framing hanley, arteyu.
they all speak to me, and i enjoy listening to them

I really dont know how to start this.
I would love to win an ipod because my parents never get me one no matter how many times i ask. My playlist includes a lot of You Me At Six becuase i can kinda relate to them and they put a smile on my face. All Time Low's weightless is a really good songs and somtimes i feel that it speaks to me. A song that makes my day and always changes my mood is Dont stop believing by the glee cast but its originally by journey, it just makes me smile and get up and sing along. Also Everywhere i go by hollywood undead makes me laugh and dance along just like most bowling for soup songs and 30h!3. bring me the horizon just has to be played loud and can really help me when im in a certain mood. I enjoy listening to a lot of music really xx

I saw this in the Kerrang! magazine and thought what is the point in entering? I already have a perfectly fine ipod. But recently I have learnt a lot about life from someone; although I'm only 16 there is a lot more to life and it is long. However, time can and will waste you if you waste it first. And if I am lucky enough to win, what's the point in keeping another nano when someone less fortunate deserves it which I am planning on giving it to that someone.
The song I listen to everyday, which some people think is overplayed is Closer To The Edge by 30 Seconds To Mars.
I think when you really listen to the song, you can really understand the lyrics and meaning behind it, especially being a young adult and moving forward in life.
This song helps me take each day as it comes a lot easier than I use to and music is such an important thing in my life, and hopefully to everyone else it is as well.
My favourite lyrics from this song, which are constantly in my head and I have to write down everywhere are "No I'm not saying I'm sorry, One day maybe we'll meet again".
This relates perfectly to my life, reuniting with deceased family members and old friends.
This song in most environments nearly always seems to bring a tear to my eye. I love the band and the song really uplifts my mood and makes me more optimistic about the future ahead, so although they won't read this I'd like to let you all know I'm really greatful for this band because their music and lyrics are so comforting and to me, really fits my lifestyle.
Thankyou for reading
