If you're taking part in Habbo's The HABprentice campaign, check out my first set of hints and tips to help you succeed here. If you're not, get with the programme!
Well, the first deadline has closed so I'm having a read of your first round of comics - I'm so impressed. So, as well as putting my favourites up in the gallery, I'll be sending them to ChildLine, who will be doing something with them too!
But if you didn't get time to create your comic first time around, there's still time! You have another fortnight - until Friday 3 April - to do one around the theme of whatever your worry, it's better out than in.
So check out the brief here. And I'll blog about some of the first entries later this week.
Soooooo excited! I’ve just heard that Michael Rosen,
the Children’s Laureate, has given Idea some writing tips. Maybe you can apply some of these to your next brief:
"One: Look at everything around you. Listen to everything around you. Read as much as you can, as often as you can. Two: Daydream, imagine, wonder, speculate, ponder. Three: Write down anything that amazes or puzzles you from points one and two."
So, budding Idea wordsmiths, stay tuned and I’ll let you know if we can get any more of Michael’s advice on writing, creativity and why whatever
your worry, it’s better out than in. And in the meantime, enjoy the Michael Rosen rap, which shows off his crazy sense of humour.
when you can send biscuits instead?! I think this is a great idea from Biscuiteers. You can even send a biscuit card! They're almost as good as the entries we received for the Facebake brief!
